Dear son: Stop wasting my food. Thanks, your frustrated mommy

I know being a mom would be challenging at times, but where’s the book titled “The challenges never stop”? If it’s not me trying to get him off my precious watermelons( AHH!!! actually back to limes),or me trying to stop him from touching everything, but now it’s trying to get him to eat my delicious cooking.

How to deal with a picky either?? that, I don’t know! No one in my family is a picky eater. I eat everything, I mean almost everything, well, except fast food, soda, green stuffs, yellow stuffs, white stuffs, red stuffs, I mean really I am not anywhere close. So, this is why I wonder why my son is so picky.

Since I don’t like processed food, I don’t like pre-made freezer food, I cook from scratch almost everyday. Lately, I’ve cooked stuffs I don’t even know the name of, just to try to give it to him to see if he’ll eat it. Well, well, NOTHING! Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner all end up on the floor, which I get a rainbow on my kitchen floor at the end of each day. I mean seriously who doesn’t like a rainbow? AHH!!! Frustrated much!

Oh well, as a mommy I have to accept those challenges and deal with them. So I am just letting him starve pretty much. lol! Well, seriously I just give him the Gerber puree vegetables and fruits, and I make my own smoothie for him, which includes: Banana, strawberries, Greek yogurt, milk and 1 pouch carnation breakfast powder(which has lots of vitamin, protein, ect), and He loves it.

So I guess you could see my frustration, when he throws everything I take my very limited time cooking, just to see him throw it all on the floor and pretty much devour those Gerber not so yummy puree.

So what I am doing?

I am taking it one day at a time, and still cooking everyday and offering whole milk(FAILED), until he decides he likes something. Persistence pays off, right? I hope so.

Do you have a picky eater, how do you deal with it?
